overall health.

We all eat, drink, move and sleep. This short session is about learning how to leverage these things so you and your team can be more alert, focussed and energised. Its also about how to fit them into a schedule that’s already full. What does it cover?

How to eat for increased energy and performance

A productive work week means staying alert, focussed and energised, ready to meet the demands and make the decisions. If you can maintain a high baseline of energy from what you eat you’ll building extra capacity into your most valuable asset - you.

We’ll look at what you can eat to achieve this.

Hydration - Drinking for brain power

Our brains are the first to feel the effects of dehydration and it shows by a loss of concentration, in fact studies have shown that when you are only 2% dehydrated, you can experience a 10% decrease in cognitive function, mental clarity and acuity. That’s quite a lot if you have to make important decisions.

Staying properly hydrated enables the brain to stay alert so we can keep our attention and focus.

We’ll look at a raft of crafty habits to help us stay hydrated throughout the day. Try some of them and you’ll notice the difference straightaway!

Move to stay at the top of your game.

From the advent of the TV remote to the Tesco delivery and the boom in work from home our daily lives contain less and less movement.

This means we’re going to need to be more dynamic in order to make up for the movement and activity shortfall, and that means leveraging  the things we already do if we’re going to get the benefits to our level of productivity that the extra movement brings.

Not all of us have time for an exercise class after work or a trip to the gym before it so we’re going to look at a number of ways we can redress the balance by inserting more movement into our daily lives.
